RFPW - Home

Message from the President

The RFPW is the only organization that represents retirees. Founded in 1988, it is a fraternal organization whose members are retired Lexington firefighters, police officers or their surviving spouses.  Our objective is to assist members in need as well as disseminate important information.  It is also a great way of keeping old friendships alive.

We keep members advised of the pension system, health insurance, and legislative issues affecting them.  Many times at a meeting other members have important information to share as well.  We, on occasion, have guest speakers to discuss issues that are important to us.

This is a good way for you to keep up to date and have a voice in the matters pertaining to your retirement.

Meetings are scheduled every third Monday of the month at the FOP lodge, 1097 Duval Street, Lexington, KY.  Dinner begins at 6:00 p.m. and the general meeting starts at 7:00 p.m.  (Note: Meetings will NOT be held on days that Fayette County Schools are closed due to inclement weather or other public safety considerations.)

Fraternally yours,

The President
